Description: To assist the natural resources program in its efforts to protect and restore the quality of the Cape’s groundwater and surface waters. Multi-task position in a planning, technical assistance and regulatory program including water supply protection, restoration of marine and pond water quality, wastewater, watershed and storm water management.
Position requires a Master’s degree in hydrogeology, environmental science/resource management engineering or related with 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate should have proven quantitative and communication skills, knowledge of State and Federal groundwater and related environmental laws and regulation; familiarity with Cape Cod a plus.

Successful candidate will have 2 to 10 years consulting experience in the environmental assessment and remediation industry. Must have BS or MS in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology/Hydrogeology, or other related science. Responsibilities will involve performance of ASTM Phase I and Phase II Site Assessments, drafting technical reports, field sampling and coordination of site investigation activities and design/implementation of remediation systems.
