Pare Corporation has a position available for a Managing Environmental Scientist for a candidate with a minimum of 10 years of experience in natural resources management, environmental planning, and permitting.  Responsibilities include strategizing environmental permit pursuits, managing staff of environmental professionals, and providing company-wide technical expertise for natural resources issues.  A strong working knowledge of RI, MA, and Federal wetlands and coastal regulations is required.  The ideal candidate will also have experience with project management, client management, proposal execution, and business development.

Description: To assist the natural resources program in its efforts to protect and restore the quality of the Cape’s groundwater and surface waters. Multi-task position in a planning, technical assistance and regulatory program including water supply protection, restoration of marine and pond water quality, wastewater, watershed and storm water management.


Position requires a Master’s degree in hydrogeology, environmental science/resource management engineering or related with 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate should have proven quantitative and communication skills, knowledge of State and Federal groundwater and related environmental laws and regulation; familiarity with Cape Cod a plus.

Lake Shore Environmental, Inc. is currently accepting applications for an Environmental Scientist, Engineer, or Geologist.  Successful candidate will have 2 to 10 years consulting experience in the environmental assessment and remediation industry.  Must have BS or MS in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology/Hydrogeology, or other related science.   Responsibilities will involve performance of ASTM Phase I and Phase II Site Assessments, drafting technical reports, field sampling and coordination of site investigation activities and design/implementation of remediation systems.  Lake Shore Environmental (LSE) manages sites in RI, MA and CT so applicants should ideally have working knowledge of the MCP, RSRs and RI’s Remediation Regulations.  Must be organized, motivated and have excellent technical writing skills and good personal communication skills.
