Two regular spring and two fall program luncheons are held annually at the Radisson Airport Hotel, 2081 Post Road, in Warwick, RI. Regular meetings are centered on a topic or speaker of interest to the members. The first meeting during the calendar year is the annual membership meeting. In-Situ Remediation Lunch – Thursday, December 10, 2009, 12pm-2pm RISEP's next luncheon will be on Thursday December 10, 2009 at the Radisson Airport Hotel in Warwick, RI.  John Haselow from Redox Tech will be discussing in-situ remediation.  Dr. Haselow has expertise with  in-situ remedial approaches such as chemical oxidation (Fenton's chemistry, permanganate, persulfate and ozone), bioremediation (biosparging, cometabolic, anaerobic bioremediation (ABC®) and bioaugmentation), and metals treatment via eH-pH manipulation.  Dr. Haselow will present on the benefits of the different remediation techniques and provide examples of effective uses of in-situ remediation.
