RISEP’s March Networking Event – Thursday March 20th, 2008

After the great success of last years wine tasting networking event, RISEP decided to organize a beer tasting networking event! 

Join us on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Union Station in Providence, RI for a great networking event.  In addition to networking you will have the chance to sample the variety of beers brewed by Union Station (http://www.johnharvards.com/brews.htm) and enjoy a sampling of delicious appetizers.  The event will start at 6:00 pm and will include the opportunity to tour the brewery and learn about the brewing process.  Also the event will coincide with the first round of the 2008 NCAA Basketball Tournament.  Bring your Brackets along and watch some of the games with the RISEP membership!

April 2008

RISEP’s April Luncheon – Wednesday April 2nd, 2008; 12:00 to 2:00pm

The next RISEP luncheon will feature panel members discussing their experience with designing LEED buildings.  LEED is the acronym for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.  The LEED Green Building Rating System encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria.  For more information on LEED visit the U.S. Green Building Council website (http://www.usgbc.org/DisplayPage.aspx?CategoryID=19).

Please check back at a later date for more information about the speakers and the projects they will discuss.

 For RISEP member’s lunch will be served at no charge, for non RISEP members the cost is $20 per person.  RSVP no later than March 22, 2008!  Please bring check or cash to the event, no shows will be charged.
